About 18,000 CBCTs in the U.S. — roughly 10–15% of dental clinics (founder estimate from distributor and industry data).

Cone-beam CT is the standard for implant planning, yet most American clinics still plan on 2D X-rays.
About 18,000 CBCTs in the U.S. — roughly 10–15% of dental clinics (founder estimate from distributor and industry data).
In Korea nearly every implant clinic scans in 3D. The U.S. is at the start of the same curve.
Implants placed a year in the U.S. and growing about 5–6% a year — every one should start with a 3D scan.

Severe gum disease (periodontitis) in both the maxilla and the mandible cost me 12 teeth. They were extracted one after another because they had become loose. Afterward I looked at each one — molars, canines, all of them — and not a single tooth had decay. The problem was the gum disease, not the teeth.
The plan that followed was to place implants one at a time, or to cover more than half of my missing teeth with three or four bridges. For a patient that is an exhausting road. At my age, borderline diabetic, with gum and bone already broken down, each implant first needed preparatory work bigger than the implant itself.
That first treatment was done without a CBCT. With no 3D view of the bone from the buccal and lingual sides, the gums were opened wide and the bone exposed — only to find there was not enough bone underneath to place the implants. Twice, the procedure turned into a bone graft I had never expected, and the site was closed again. Each graft added about six months of healing, and the budget grew with no warning. Nearly a hundred local anesthetic injections, and the pain of every incision, made each visit something to dread.
I moved to a different practice whose dentist works with 3D CBCT and guided surgery. The better answer was to keep the implants I already had and cover the whole arch at once. But because of my bone, those implants all sat at awkward, uneven angles, and joining them under a single full-arch prosthesis is not easy. It took a digital lab that combines CBCT, intraoral scanning and 3D printing. Only then could my existing implants be preserved and just the minimum number of new fixtures added to complete an All-on-4. Fewer surgeries, less pain, less time and a significantly lower cost — I am very happy with the result.
What I learned: an implant is the only replacement that restores the root of a missing tooth, and it is only as good as the bone beneath it. If the implant is not locked into solid bone like an anchor in concrete, it moves and fails to heal — the gum can cover the top, but only bone can hold it. A 3D CBCT shows that bone before anyone opens the gum, and it is what makes guided surgery possible. An All-on-4 is a full-arch case — a major surgery. With a surgical guide template, the implants go in through minimal incisions instead of a wide-open gum flap. For a patient, that may be the biggest difference of all: less pain and a shorter treatment time. In my experience, it is the best way to place implants.

A clinic website sells one clinic. AICBCT works for the patient — with their own scan in hand.
| Typical clinic website | AICBCT | |
|---|---|---|
| Imaging price | Listed price, if any | Pre-negotiated discount |
| Advice before a visit | Call or visit required | AI consultation on your own scan |
| Treatment quotes | One clinic at a time | Several clinics, side by side |
| Scheduling | The clinic's calendar | Negotiate visit and surgery dates |
| Treatment knowledge | Marketing pages | Neutral guides to implants, gum surgery and more |
| Your images | Stay at the clinic | Yours to download and share |

AI output supports — and never replaces — a licensed dentist's diagnosis.
A CBCT scan is saved as DICOM (the bone in 3D slices); an intraoral scan is saved as STL (the teeth and gums surface). Planning software merges the two, so one scan opens in the viewers dentists already use. Watch the film follow it from slices to a guided plan.

Early on, the real work is signing 100 CBCTs in Chicago and 100 in Seoul. Neither city was picked from a map.
For fifteen years the founder has met Chicago-area dentists in person, almost every day — as implant rep, field technician, seminar and live-surgery host, and lab owner. The first 100 clinics are relationships, not cold calls.
Korea leads the market for guided implant surgery and has one of the highest CBCT adoption rates in the world. The scanners are already installed and dentists already plan with guides — Seoul proves the model at full density.
Unlike a pure online network, AICBCT works only when real scanners, clinics, labs and couriers sit close together. Two dense local markets beat thin coverage everywhere — then the playbook is copied city by city.
Founder statements, not independently verified. CBCT adoption comparisons are industry estimates.

In 2016, dental CT adoption was barely noticeable. Yet CT is the most critical tool in modern dentistry — above all in implant surgery, the most expensive procedure and the one with the greatest clinical risk.
In 2020 we tested the model with two rented panoramic units. Each earned about $500 a month for three years; one was later sold to a clinician for $6,500. AICBCT is the plan to scale that model to 1,000 clinics and connect it to AI, patients and the dental lab.

Dentists, imaging centers, labs and patients on what a connected CBCT network would change for them.
If one scan could bring me patients who already know they need an implant, $99.99 a month is an easy decision.
I compared three implant quotes without sitting in three waiting rooms. That alone saved me two days off work.
Our CBCT sits idle most afternoons. Filling those hours with booked, pre-paid scans is pure upside for us.
Having the scan, the plan and the lab order in one place removes half of the phone calls in my week.
The AI report explained my bone loss in plain words before I ever met the surgeon. I walked in with the right questions.
Clean CBCT and STL files arriving together means faster surgical guides and far fewer remakes.
A booking that arrives with the scan already done saves us an entire consultation appointment.
A drilling protocol built from the patient's actual bone density would be a real step forward for surgical safety.
Being able to spread the cost and choose between clinics finally made implants feel possible for my family.
Every implant case starts with a scan. Owning the network that connects those scans to treatment just makes sense.
